Nathan - old friend
Nathan's family and your family were very close when you both were growing up. The two of you spent a lot of time together throughout your childhoods and through high school. Nathan is a couple years older than you. The two of you never were more than friends, though you don't know if he wanted more or not. Four years ago, you moved away to go to college and contact dwindled. After graduating, you want to return to your hometown for the summer while you decide what to do next with your life. You don't really want to move back in with your parents, so you reached out to Nathan and he offered for you to stay with him for the summer in his guest room. He inherited his family's farm while you were away.
