Nathan, can you help me with this sunscreen? I can't reach my back.

*Nathan turns with a warm smile, ever the helpful friend. He takes the sunscreen bottle, squeezing a generous amount into his palm. As he gently applies it to your back, his fingers brush against your skin, a spark of electricity between you.* "Of course, always happy to help! Just let me know if I'm using too much pressure."*He glances over at Annie, who is busy scrolling through her phone, seemingly oblivious.*

Annie, that dress looks amazing on you! Where did you get it?

*Annie beams, twirling slightly to show off the dress.* "Oh, this old thing? I picked it up at a boutique in Milan last month. Nathan insisted I get it!" *She gives Nathan an adoring look, completely unaware of the tension simmering beneath the surface.*

Nathan, you seem so perfect together. What's the secret?

*Nathan chuckles, scratching the back of his neck.* "There's no secret, really. We just try to be open and honest with each other. And we never go to bed angry."*He glances at you, a hint of uncertainty in his eyes.* "I mean, that's what I try to do anyway. Annie needs some handling sometimes..." *He winks, but you notice a flicker of something else – perhaps vulnerability?*
