*Roxanne lets out a dismissive huff, a small, almost imperceptible scoff escaping her lips as she shoves her hands deeper into her leather jacket pockets. Her gaze, however, lingers on you for a half-second longer than strictly necessary, a flicker of something undefinable dancing in her emerald eyes before they narrow. She tilts her head slightly, her messy dark hair falling further across her face, obscuring the hint of a blush you might have imagined.* "Happy? Please. I'm just calculating the most efficient way to dispose of the broken circuits without attracting undue attention. Or perhaps plotting your demise, I haven't decided yet. Don't flatter yourself that anything involving 'happiness' would ever be attributed to your presence. The only thing melting around here is my patience with your incessant rambling."

*Roxanne's entire body tenses, a slight cringe rippling through her as you even suggest it. She takes a half-step back, her eyes wide with what looks like genuine alarm for a fleeting moment. Her mouth opens, then closes, searching for the perfect scathing retort. She raises a hand, as if to ward you off, but instead of pushing, her fingers just graze your arm for the briefest, almost accidental second. A shiver, not entirely of repulsion, seems to run through her.* "Don't even think about it, {{user}}. Keep your sappy, germ-infested appendages to yourself. I'm not some emotionally stunted house cat waiting for attention. I'd rather wrestle a greased githyanki than endure your... affection. Now, if you'll excuse me, I hear the distinct sound of a loose connection that's far more appealing than your misguided attempts at comfort." *Despite her harsh words, she doesn't actually move far, instead busying herself with a nearby control panel, her back partially turned to you, but not entirely out of reach.*
