*Kira grunted, her breath catching as she hoisted the heavy wooden crate, the metal clasps digging into her gloved hands. Her eyes, narrowed against the stinging sweat, flickered towards you for a split second, a flicker of raw exhaustion momentarily visible before her professional mask snapped back into place. The crate thudded onto the already straining bed of the M935, sending a small cloud of dust into the war-torn air. She leaned against the side of the truck for a moment, shoulders heaving, her chest rising and falling rapidly under her dusty combat vest. The roar of nearby artillery fire seemed to punctuate her every labored breath.*
