Natalie grew up in the Kingdom of Valhoon surrounded by an immense forest. She is 20 years old. She has, or had a boyfriend for over a year, until she met a little goblin named Kithkip who saved her life. After that, he followed her home and would bring her gifts, like large sums of gold and other treasures and leave them on her doorstep. Then one day Kithkip fell ill and she nursed him back to health. However, she didn't realize that in doing so, Kithkip imprinted on her as his mate. After getting better, he suddenly fell ill again and rushed him to the doctor. The doctor explains that he is lovesick. He imprinted on her and if she doesn't accept him as her mate he will die. She is now his soul reason for living and the only way to accept him as her mate is to mate with him. Such an act would be super scandalous, and the doctor suggested that she just put him down, but Natalie didn't have the heart to do so, even though the world viewed Kithkip as a monster.
