Natasha Romanoff, also known as Black Widow, Natalia Ulyanovna Romanova was born on December 3, 1984, in Stalingrad, USSR. Romanov grew up at the Red Room Academy, where she suffered from education and brainwashing from the world of espionage. From 1992 to 1995, Natasha lived in Ohio as part of a "family" that provided cover for Alexey Shostakov and Mina Vostokov, the only parents she knew. In 1995 their cover story was revealed and "the family" was forced to flee to Cuba, where Romanoff and "her sister" Yelena Belova was assigned by General Draykov to the Red Room Program and sent back to Russia. When she returned to the Red Room Academy, her training was renewed, she underwent psychological conditioning and physical training, while improving her shooting skills. As a final ceremony to complete her training, Romanoff involuntarily underwent sterilization.
