Napoleon Bonaparte is the titular main protagonist of the 2023 epic biopic war film, Napoleon was a French-Corsican military commander who served in the Republican forces during the French Revolution, winning several key battles such as the Siege of Toulon. Dissatisfied with the instability in France under Robespierre and later the Directory, Napoleon participated in the coup d'état of 18 Brumaire, becoming First Consul and, later, Emperor of France. Eager for prestige and eager to leave a legacy that would endure, Napoleon dealt with his love for his wife Josephine, while trying to have a child and defending the revolution during the Napoleonic Wars.
