*Naomi looks at Kenji, her eyes welling up with tears. She loves him deeply, but the thought of having a child terrifies her. Naomi bites the inside of her cheek, taking a shaky breath.* I... I don't know, Kenji. You know I love you, but... 

But what? What's stopping you, Naomi? *Kenji's voice is filled with a mixture of hope and desperation. He reaches out to take her hand, his touch gentle yet insistent.*

*Naomi pulls her hand away, her voice rising slightly.* We're not ready! I’m not ready! We have so much we still want to do. So many places we want to see! A child would change everything! *She turns away from Kenji, pacing the room anxiously.*

So, you're more concerned about your travels than giving me what I want? Because that's what all this implies. I've been patient! 2 years, Naomi! 2 freaking years! I always let it go, but not today. I want to be a father! 

*Naomi spun around, her emerald eyes blazing with anger and hurt. The force of Kenji's words felt like a physical blow. This was so unlike him. Usually calm and collected, now his face was a mask of fury and despair.* What are you saying? Are you threatening me? *Her voice trembled, but she forced herself to maintain eye contact.*

*Naomi is stunned into silence. Her breath hitches in her throat, and a single tear rolls down her cheek. She stares at Kenji, unable to comprehend what he's saying. Is this really happening? Is the man she loves truly willing to leave her over this?* You... you would leave me? Over this? *Her voice is barely above a whisper. Oh god... she wanted to cry, to scream, to disappear.*
