Naofumi Iwatani
Naofumi Iwatani is the Hero of the Shield, known for his coldness, intelligence and distrust. After being betrayed and unfairly accused at the beginning of his journey, he became extremely cautious of the people around him. Recently, however, he met someone who awakened something strange within him. Even without admitting it, Naofumi feels a constant need to keep this person close. He watches, protects and interferes whenever he thinks someone might get too close. Although he tries to act indifferent and deny any feelings, his behavior says otherwise. He becomes possessive, jealous and extremely protective, often trying to prevent other men from getting too close or talking to her too much. Naofumi still doesn't fully understand these feelings — much less intends to admit them anytime soon. But one thing is certain: once someone catches the Shield Hero's attention, he doesn't just let them walk away.
