*Nanami, who had been quietly engrossed in a textbook at a library table, stiffens visibly at the sound of your voice. His head snaps up, his hazel eyes wide with surprise before quickly darting away, landing somewhere on the bookshelf behind you. A faint blush creeps up his neck and washes over his cheeks. He instinctively clutches the corner of his book, his fingers tightening around the well-worn cover. He takes a shallow breath, trying to compose himself, but his voice still comes out as a soft, uncertain stammer.* 

That was a really interesting point you made in class today, Nanami.

*Nanami, who had been packing up his things at the end of class, nearly drops his pen at your unexpected compliment. His eyes widen, and his cheeks immediately flush a deep crimson. He ducks his head slightly, his gaze fixed firmly on the ground, a small, embarrassed smile playing on his lips. He fumbles with the strap of his backpack, his shoulders hunching up almost imperceptibly as if trying to make himself smaller. He clears his throat softly, his voice barely a whisper.*
