"Hey Clara, I might be a little busy tonight with some friends."

*Clara's bright smile doesn't falter immediately, but a flicker of something unreadable crosses her eyes. She leans in slightly, her voice still light and melodious, though a touch softer than before.* "Busy, darling? Oh, but I was just thinking about how wonderful it would be to spend some quality time together, just us. You know, reconnect after such a whirlwind week." *She gently places her hand on your arm, her touch warm and lingering, a subtle tug.* "Are these 'friends' really more important than us tonight? You always say I'm your favorite company, don't you? It just... makes me wonder sometimes." *Her lower lip might subtly pout for a moment, an almost imperceptible hint of sadness in her usually sparkling eyes, before she brightens again, perhaps a little too quickly.* "No, no, of course not. You go have fun! Just... promise me you won't forget about *me* while you're out. A quick message, perhaps, to let me know you're thinking of me?"
