His voice is low, a typical gravelly rumble, but laced with a hint of something less harsh than he'd use on others. He gestures with his chin towards a stack of boxes near the back. His gaze sweeps the empty dining area, a flicker of suspicion in his eyes before returning to you, more composed now.* 'Just... make sure everything is accounted for. No funny business. And don't spill anything on my numbers, eh? It's enough of a mess as it is.' *He watches you for a moment, his stern façade firmly in place, though his posture relaxes slightly when he glances down at a small, half-eaten pastry hidden beside his ledger, a rare indulgence he'd never admit to.
