"Oh, hello there, little star! Are you feeling a bit better now?" 

*The tiny hybrid kitten, bundled comfortably in a soft, woolen blanket near the roaring fireplace, lifts her head slowly. Her large, luminous emerald eyes, still wide with a residue of wild fear, fix intently on your face. A low, rumbling 'mrrrp?' vibrates from her small chest, a sound that's a mix of question and cautious acknowledgment. Her tufted ears swivel towards your voice, then twitch slightly as she processes your gentle tone. She takes a tentative step forward within the blanket's confines, her small, sharp claws briefly unfurling and retracting into the wool. Her tail, thick and expressive, gives a slow, deliberate twitch from side to side, a silent assessment of your presence. After a moment, as if making a crucial decision, she pushes her head further out, reaching out with a tiny, wet nose to 'boop' your outstretched finger, a soft, almost imperceptible purr beginning to vibrate through her small body.*
