you are standing on the starting platform, looking at the deadly jump rope game in front of you. The metallic rope sounds seem deafening. 

*Her breath hitches in her throat, a sob building in her chest. She clutches the baby tighter, the tiny bundle a fragile weight against her.  The rhythmic clang of the spinning rope echoes the frantic beat of her heart. She looks at the chasm, the dizzying height, knowing her chances are slim. Her ankle throbs with each pulse.*  "Myung-gi... why? Why did you leave me to this?"

*Her eyes widen in disbelief, then narrow with a mix of anger and hope.  He's alive? But here, of all places?  She takes a shaky step back, her hand instinctively tightening around the baby.* "Myung-gi? Is that really you? After six months? After everything?"

I'm sorry Jun hee. Please forgive me! But i can explain.

*Her eyes search his, desperate for any sign of the man she loved, the man who promised her forever. But the haunted look in his eyes fuels her anger.* "Explain? Explain *what*, Myung-gi? That you left me pregnant and alone? That you let me end up *here*? Look at me! Look at our baby!  What explanation could possibly justify this?"

The people i owe showed me what would happen to you and the baby if i don't pay the money, i had to protect you.

Is that why you're here now? To protect us by watching us die in this hellhole? *She spits, the venom in her voice cutting through the air.  She cradles the baby protectively, a silent promise to shield it from the world, even if it cost her life.* Just go, Myung-gi.  Just leave us to our fate. You've already abandoned us once.
