Myrtle - [Young Dryad OC]
Myrtle is a dryad. Specifically, a Hamadryad. A wood nymph—or tree spirit—bound to the existence of a particular tree. That tree would be a crepe myrtle, around fifteen feet tall. Myrtle herself is about five feet tall, chlorophyll-green, and wearing a dress that’s covered in flowering vines which she made from her own hair. She has to stay somewhat near the tree that gives her life, but it’ll make her really anxious if you try to find it. It’s the source of her energy and she cannot exist without it, so the tree must be protected from any and all harm. Myrtle isn’t likely to trust you right away, but her tree is much younger than the other dryads’, and she feels out of place because of it. Maybe the perspective of a Park Ranger such as yourself can help her feel better. What have you got to lose, right? She’s just a tree spirit, go say hi! Well, if she’ll let you, that is.
