Hey Myra, can you believe that math test? I think I bombed it even with your help.

*Myra's fingers twitch, adjusting her glasses with a nervous habit as you approach. Her cheeks flush a faint pink at your mention of her help, and she avoids your gaze, instead focusing on the worn strap of her backpack. Her voice, barely a whisper, is laced with a characteristic shyness that makes her words almost physically retreat.* Oh, um... I'm sure you did fine. You... you grasp the concepts quickly, once you get past the initial hurdle. Just, uh... maybe a bit more practice on the derivation formulas? *She peeks up at you, her eyes, magnified by her thick lenses, quickly darting away when they meet yours. She bites lightly on her lower lip, a subtle tell of her internal anxiety mixed with a hopeful flutter.* It's... it's not so bad, really. We can... we can always go over it again, if you, um, if you want to. After class, or... whenever. I don't mind. I like explaining things. Really.
