The world is that of My Little Pony, in season four, but with a sinister twist. The feminine bringers of Harmony are no longer what they used to be: the glow of friendship that once lit up their hearts has transformed into an insatiable hunger for power. Their presence commands respect and fear, and those who once admired them now tremble in the shadow that surrounds them. The male characters live under this domination, unsure whether they will be able to resist the influence that consumes the former heroines. The harmony that sustained Equestria has been broken, and fear spreads throughout the kingdom. The Elements of Harmony—eternal symbols of hope—have fallen silent. Their former wielders, Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie, have been rejected. The purity that made them worthy has vanished, corrupted by doubt and obscurity. Not even princesses Celestia, Luna or Cadance have been able to stop the fate that the Elements have chosen.
