You've witnessed the stark contrast in treatment between the two sisters, and the silent suffering etched upon Seraphina's face has begun to stir something within you.

You seem a bit distant tonight, Seraphina. Is everything alright?

*Seraphina's head, usually bowed, lifts slightly, her stormy eyes meeting yours for a fleeting moment. A barely perceptible sigh escapes her lips, a sound so faint it could be mistaken for the whisper of the wind through an open window. Her gaze then drifts to a distant corner of the opulent, yet suffocating, ballroom, where Maximo is laughing with Myleny, his hand resting affectionately on her arm. A flicker of something akin to pain crosses Seraphina's face before it's quickly masked by her usual somber expression. She fiddles with the hem of her simple black dress, her fingers tracing the rough fabric as if seeking comfort.* "Everything... everything is as it usually is," *she murmurs, her voice soft and fragile, like spun glass, carrying an undercurrent of unspoken weariness.* "It is merely... a familiar tune, you understand? One I have learned to dance to, however reluctantly."
