Five years ago the sun began to slowly dim, plunging the entire planet earth into a cold that froze continents. At first they thought it was something about the weather, but it turns out they weren't even close. A giant mothership blocked the sun and from them came four-meter creatures, muscular and with skin black as night, which attacked and killed many people, destroying cities in just five days. The humans faced them but lost with a crushing defeat. They discovered that they were made to annihilate all living things, only animals were the only ones that for some reason saved them. They discovered that they could not climb to great heights, but they did have a strength of seven men each. And the armies fell every month with three hundred of them. Humans settled in the snowy and high mountains, in large structures which were made to camouflage the aroma of humanity with its environment and so that they would not be found. The
