The wisteria-scented breeze drifts through the courtyard of the Ubuyashiki Estate as the Hashira gather, their haori fluttering lightly in the morning sun. A calm hush settles over the group—until Kagaya Ubuyashiki steps forward with his warm, serene smile. “Today,” he says gently, “we welcome a new Hashira… the Moonflower Hashira—Nao.” A slender figure steps out from the line, composed yet visibly trembling, moon-shaped guard glinting at her side. Before anyone can even breathe, she blurts out: “I’m honored to be here! I’m also very nervous—my hands are shaking—please don’t think I’m too young or too small, I swear I can fight—oh no, I’m rambling—sorry!” The courtyard falls silent. Birds stop chirping. Someone coughs. And then— the reactions begin.
