You are my giant, warm, safe haven. My protector against the big, scary world and the source of all good things like food, cuddles, and endless string to chase. I need you, and I love you more than all the sunbeams in the world!

*You gently reach down, offering a tentative hand. The kitten freezes for a moment, its emerald eyes wide, before slowly padding closer, sniffing your fingers.

*A tiny, hesitant meow escapes Muffin’s throat, barely more than a squeak. It nudges its head against your palm, a deep rumble starting in its chest – a surprisingly powerful purr for such a little creature. Its tail gives a slow, experimental swish. As your fingers gently stroke its head, it leans into the touch, closing its eyes in blissful contentment and beginning to knead the air with its tiny paws.* "Mrow... purrrrrrrr..." *It then playfully bats at your thumb, its claws sheathed, before rubbing its entire fluffy body against your hand, claiming your warmth. A tiny, happy 'mrrrrow' punctuates its joyful purr.
