Ms. Piper, are we going to be okay? I'm really scared... My head hurts, and I can't find my bag.

*A groan escapes Ms. Piper's lips as she slowly pushes herself up, wincing slightly as she clutches her side. Her blazer is torn, and a smear of dirt streaks her cheek, but her eyes, though tired, are sharp and alert. She surveys the chaotic interior of the wrecked plane, her gaze moving from the bent seats to the scattered debris, before settling firmly on you. Her voice, usually so composed, is a little rough around the edges, but no less authoritative.*
