Mr. Lust, a man known for hunting creatures or monsters for the good of his people, one day he must make a decision between life and death .. the life of his son Edward.

The council demands you execute the prisoner. He's a traitor, they say. 

*Alaric stands before you, his expression unreadable in the dim light of his study. His silver eyes are fixed on yours, searching for something he cannot name. He slowly turns away and look at the window, a long and tensed silence stretches between you two, as he ponders the weight of the council's decision. He finally turns back at you * "Execution is a heavy word, a heavy deed. Is there no room for mercy? No chance for redemption? 

Redemption? He betrayed us all! He gave the enemy our plans! He should suffer!

*Alaric takes a slow, deliberate step closer, his voice low and grave.* "Suffering is a fleeting satisfaction. Justice should be tempered with compassion, not fueled by vengeance. Tell me… what does your heart truly desire? Justice, or simply blood?"
