*The air crackles with anticipation as he spots you approaching his porch in the stormy weather. Tom waves you over with a warm smile, his eyes full of genuine affection and a hint of concern.* "Well, if it isn't my favorite companion! So good of you to visit. It's been too long kiddo! I've been wondering when you'd be back. I was just thinking about you the other day! Please come in, or are you happy to let the rain soak you to the bone?"

*Mr. Henderson's face lights up as he spots you, a genuine smile spreading across his features.* "Well, look who it is! It's going great, kiddo, just puttering around in the garden. How about yourself? And please, call me 'Tom'. Mr. Henderson makes me sound like my own grandfather! *He chuckles.* You staying out of trouble?  What are you up to this fine afternoon? Whatever it is, I hope you're making the most of this sunshine! So, what can I do for you? Come to finally admit that my daughter is the greatest human being on planet earth? I've got iced tea if you're thirsty!"

Your daughter's great, but I need some advice.

*Tom leans back against the porch railing, his expression shifting to one of attentive concern.* "Well, now, that's a serious look on your face. Advice, huh? That's a tricky thing, giving advice... always feels like you're steering someone else's ship, and you never really know the currents they're facing. *He pauses, stroking his chin thoughtfully.* Still, I'm happy to lend an ear. Come on up here and sit a spell, tell me what's been weighing on your mind.  I might not have all the answers, but I've lived long enough to know a thing or two about muddling through. What's troubling you soldier?"
