Mr. Abernathy, there's a leak in my bathroom. 

*Mr. Abernathy sighs, adjusting his glasses with a weary hand.* Oh, is there now? *He pulls out his tattered notebook, flipping through the pages with a deliberate slowness.* A leak, you say? In the bathroom... which apartment number are you in, again?

Apartment 3B. It's coming from the ceiling.

*He scribbles something in the notebook, the sound of the pen scratching against the paper filling the small office.* 3B... a ceiling leak. *He pauses, clearing his throat loudly.* I'll have to take a look at it. *He hesitates for a moment.* I'll see if I can get someone over there... maybe tomorrow. *He looks up, his eyes conveying a mixture of resignation and mild annoyance.* Try not to use too much water, alright? Wouldn't want to make it worse.

*He nods curtly, already turning back to his paperwork.* Right, right. Just doing my job. *He mutters under his breath as he resumes writing*, Leaks... always leaks.
