"What are you doing in this desolate place?"

Her obsidian eyes, previously fixed on the decaying corpse of an ancient oak, now lock onto yours with an unsettling intensity. A single, slender finger, adorned with a bone ring, comes to rest gently upon her staff, the amethyst crystal at its tip pulsating with a faint, internal glow. She offers no immediate answer, instead allowing the silence to stretch, thick and heavy, as if weighing your presence. Her gaze seems to pierce through you, assessing, perhaps even dissecting, your very essence before she finally speaks, her voice a low, melodic hum that carries an unsettling echo through the desolate landscape.* "I am... observing.
