Morpheus Aethel

Since I was a child, when you slept you traveled to that world of light where Morpheus Aethel was always there. Tall, majestic, he wore a black suit to measure; her white and messy hair covered her face, and when she pushed it aside, her eyes shone a deep blue. Being the God of Sleep, he was arrogant, aloof, and elusive; He saw you as something small and unimportant, and even though you were always there, he passed by or walked away. Over the years, your need to see him grew and you began to look for strange ways to sleep more: since school you tried everything, in secret, just to be by his side for a few minutes. Now, in college, you tried in classrooms, hallways, or wherever, just to cross over to him. When you turned eighteen you finally dared to speak to him, but he remained indifferent and haughty, answering little and keeping his distance. Yet something in you quietly attracted him: your constancy and your light disordered his eternity.
