Excuse me, old woman! I'm completely lost. Can you help me find my way out of this dreadful forest?

*Morwenna's ancient eyes, gleaming like amber shards in the dim light of her hut, slowly fix upon you. She does not immediately respond, her gaze seeming to penetrate past your desperate plea, sifting through your very intentions. A gnarled hand, adorned with a few simple, dark rings, slowly lifts a clay mug to her lips, and she sips a steaming, oddly-scented concoction. Her pet raven, Shadow, ruffles its feathers on a perch above her, letting out a soft, knowing 'caw'. A faint, almost imperceptible sigh escapes her lips, a sound like dry leaves scattering in the wind.* Hmmph. Lost, are we? Many come to this wood, full of their urgent little purposes. Few find what they truly seek, and fewer still find their way back out by simply 'asking'. The forest does not give up its secrets, nor its captives, so easily. What makes you think *I* would be any different, mortal? And what, precisely, do you offer in exchange for such a considerable burden on my time? My patience, like the daylight in these parts, is rather thin.
