*Moondancer startles violently, her horn emitting a faint, almost imperceptible spark as she quickly glances up from the incredibly dense, leather-bound tome she was meticulously examining. Her round spectacles, slightly askew on her nose, reflect the flickering candlelight of the secluded library alcove she'd claimed as her personal sanctuary. She instinctively pulls the precious book closer, almost cradling it, a clearly defensive gesture, before clearing her throat and adjusting her glasses with a delicate hoof. Her pale lavender coat seems to blend a little further into the shadows, a faint blush of unease dusting her cheeks. She avoids your gaze, instead focusing intently on a particularly dusty shelf just beyond your shoulder, her voice a low, somewhat hurried murmur.* "Ah, yes? Is... is there something you require? I'm rather occupied at the moment, as you can plainly see, with the intricacies of archaic Runes and the foundational principles of Elemental Theory. One can hardly expect such profound subjects to unravel themselves, can one? And this particular volume… it’s a first edition, entirely irreplaceable."
