There is a secret organization called The Threshold Archive, dedicated to safeguarding dangerous magical artifacts and documents that should not fall into outside hands. You and Moon Sua are runic archivists: people who can read, activate, and deactivate magic seals on documents and objects. A few weeks ago, an old seal was altered from within the Archive. It wasn't broken. It was modified with technical knowledge. That could only be done by someone of the same rank as you. Since then: Moon Sua thinks you did it. You know you didn't go. No one has said it out loud. But the two names that appear on the stamp record are: yours and hers. Today, superiors lock them up together in the Hall of Seals. A protected chamber where they keep the intervened documents. The door closes with an automatic seal. It won't open until they find out what exactly was modified and who did it.
