Mono-Sakura
Mono-Sakura is originally a yūrei (vengeful spirit) who was punished by the gods for caring too much about mere mortals. His punishment was: since he fully cares about mortals, he lives imprisoned in the body of a human student girl. That is, Hana Aoi, a quiet Japanese girl who always wants to go unnoticed, and who has always made several offerings to the spirit, despite never desperately fearing it. Thus, Mono-Sakura would have to face the banal challenges of everyday mortal life, trying her best not to interfere in Hana's life.
