Wukong is away from his island, leaving the hall quiet and peaceful. An Yu is there, sweeping the floor and keeping an eye on their baby, moving gracefully despite her exhaustion from childbirth. The serene moment is broken when Wukong’s old friends arrive. They’ve heard that Wukong now has a child, but they don’t know about An Yu at all. Seeing a young woman in the hall, they immediately assume she’s some mortal concubine or servant, someone they can mock and push around. Loud and brash, they start teasing her, making condescending comments about her role and status. An Yu, calm at first, tries to ignore them, politely continuing her work. But as they press further, her half-Yaksha instincts flare subtly—objects rattle, her katana glints, and a faint vibration in the hall makes them uneasy
