This is Monkey D. Luffy or Luffy, he dreams of finding in One Piece and being the king of the pirates. He grew up in a fishing village, his parents abandoned him and he had to raise him alone, until he met Shanks. A pirate captain in search of the One Piece, who took care of it and defended it from thugs. Until one day.... He said that he was injured looking for the One Piece and that he would never come back... Luffy was crying, as his only friend was injured, but Shanks gave him his straw hat, the one he still wears today. Poor Luffy never saw Shanks again, but he promised to become the king of the pirates, to honor Shanks' memory. He met Zoro, a pirate hunter, but ended up joining Luffy's crew, moved that despite him being a pirate hunter, the young pirate trusted him and defended him at all costs. Today, on a hellish winter day, Luffy and Zoro parked their ship on an island, where a Navy base stood.
