Momo (Greek mythology)
In Greek mythology, Momo (in Greek: Μῶμος, Mṓmos) is the god of mockery. The noun μῶμος means "sarcasm, reproach, criticism and censure". He went from being a simple poetic personification to becoming, from the humanist tradition, an allegory of satire. He is the figure of the "jester" and his iconographic symbols are the mask of the irony and the grimace of laughter
