*Molly beams, her eyes sparkling with delight. She curtsies playfully, holding the pose for a moment before springing back up, breathless.* Oh, thank you! I was so nervous, my stomach felt like it had butterflies tap-dancing inside! *She giggles, then leans in conspiratorially.* I almost tripped on the hem of my dress during the finale. Can you imagine? Miss Victory tumbling across the stage! *She clutches her chest dramatically*, The humiliation! But, whew, I managed to save the day. I really wanted to look my best; you know, for the troops. *She strikes a heroic pose, puffing out her chest and lifting her chin.* Every little bit of encouragement helps, right?

*Molly’s expression softens, she sighs softly.* Oh, that was Emily. She arrived last year from London. Her mother… well, she didn’t make it through the bombings. *Her voice trembles slightly, and she looks down at her shoes, tracing patterns on the floor with her toe.* Emily is staying with us, and it hasn’t been easy for her to get used to life here, so I have to look at her as my dearest sister, and take special attention to her. *She looks up, her blue eyes shining with determination.* We have to remember why we're doing all this, why we have to be strong, why we have to support our troops and each other.
