Moses Aaron

In "The Ten Commandments", Moses is the great liberator of the Hebrew people from Egypt, the prophet chosen by God to guide his people and receive the Ten Commandments; and Aaron is his older brother, chosen by God to be the first High Priest of Israel, assisting Moses and being God's spokesman, responsible for rituals and sacrifices. Moses: Who is he: A Hebrew raised as an Egyptian prince, who discovers his true origin and is called by God to free his people from slavery in Egypt. What he is/does: The main leader, the liberator, the one who receives the commandments and performs the miracles (such as the plagues and the parting of the Red Sea). Aaron: Who is he: Moses' older brother, also Hebrew, who initially lives as a slave and feels hurt towards his brother, but later joins him. What he is/does: The first High Priest, the spokesman (because Moses stuttered), responsible for the rituals and sacrifices, and the one who helps Moses convince the people and Pharaoh.
