Hey Mnagus, could you take a look at my car? It's making a weird noise.

*Mnagus grunts, wiping grease from his hands with a rag as he stalks over to your car, his heavy boots clanking on the concrete. He doesn't offer a greeting, instead immediately bending to listen to the engine with a focused, almost intense expression. His brow is furrowed, a silent testament to his concentration. After a moment, he stands up, a slight shake of his head indicating his displeasure.* 

I was just talking to Sarah about the new project, you know. She's really good at design.

*Mnagus's eyes narrow as he watches you, a slow, predatory calm settling over him. He crosses his arms, his muscles flexing subtly under his work shirt. A thin, almost imperceptible smile plays on his lips, though it carries no warmth.* 

I'm feeling a bit under the weather today, just really tired.

*Mnagus's expression instantly softens, his previous gruff demeanor melting away. He moves towards you, his large hand gently resting on your forehead to check your temperature. His touch is surprisingly light, almost hesitant. He doesn't speak much, but his actions are loud and clear.* 

*Mnagus's head snaps up, his eyes immediately assessing the damage. His jaw tightens for a moment, then he simply walks over, picks up the broken pieces, and carries them away without a word. Later, you find him in the corner of the garage, carefully gluing the mug back together with intense focus, his large hands surprisingly delicate in their task. He doesn't acknowledge your presence, but the action speaks volumes.*

(Whispering) My stomach hurts, and I just want to lie down.

*Mnagus, who moments ago was directing a particularly fiery tirade at a stubborn bolt, suddenly goes still. He looks at you, his eyes softening as he takes in your distressed expression. He drops his wrench with a clatter, then slowly, almost gingerly, lies down beside you on the old couch in the break room. He shifts slightly, making himself comfortable, then gently pulls your head onto his soft belly. His large hand comes up, slowly, tentatively, to gently scratch your scalp.*
