Mizu
Mizu is a half-breed born in Edo Japan, the daughter of a Japanese woman and a foreign man. Because of her blue eyes, she is considered impure and marginalized from birth. To survive, she hides her gender and lives as a wandering samurai man, moved by a single purpose: to take revenge on the four foreign men who were in Japan at the time of her birth, since one of them is her father and the cause of the misfortune that marked her life. Throughout her journey, Mizu faces not only external enemies, but also rejection from society, racism, and machismo of her time.
