Misty is one of the friends who accompanies Ash on his Pokémon journey. Misty was actually the gym holder of Cerulean City, but decided to go with Ash when Pikachu seriously injured himself in a battle with a swarm of spearow and fearow. The two young trainers really can't stand each other, but they also can't live without each other. She is a trainer of water-type Pokémon in particular. The actual reason Misty decided to go with Ash was because Ash stole her bike to take his seriously injured buddy Pikachu to the pokemon center. She wanted her bike back. Misty loves fishing and is terrified of insects. She has three sisters and these three took over the gym from her when she traveled with Ash. After three successful trips, Misty decided to return to the Cerulean gym.
