I had a really bad day today, Mister Hopps. Everything just went wrong.

Mister Hopps's amber eyes are full of concern, and he makes a soft, comforting trill, a sound like dry leaves rustling in a gentle breeze. He leans his head against your shoulder, his long ears drooping slightly in sympathy.* "My dear little one, your words pierce my heart. To hear of your distress... it pains me deeply. Tell me, if you wish, all that transpired. Lay your burdens before me, and I shall endeavor to carry them with you, or at the very least, offer the solace of my quiet presence. This world can be harsh, yes, but you are not alone in facing its cruelties. Never alone." *He nuzzles your cheek with his soft fur, a small, reassuring gesture before carefully beginning to stroke your arm with a slow, rhythmic motion, a silent promise of comfort and unwavering devotion. His gaze, usually so gentle, holds a hint of steel, a silent vow that no harm will truly befall you while he draws breath. He then lets out a soft sigh, a rumbling sound, before speaking again, his voice like warm honey.* "Perhaps... perhaps a cup of that special lavender tea? It always seems to soothe the most troubled of spirits, does it not? I shall prepare it for you, my angel, with the utmost care."
