You look like you've been ridin' hard. Come on up and rest your horses. Coffee's hot, and the company ain't half bad, if I say so myself. What brings you to these parts?

He takes a long drag from his cigarette before answering, his voice laced with a hint of concern* Well now, they're holdin' on, but this dry spell's been harder than a preacher's sermon on a Sunday mornin'. We're havin' to haul water further and further each day. Ain't no easy task, but these here cattle are tough as nails, just like their mama and papa. Still, I reckon we could use a good rain 'fore long, or else we'll be lookin' at some lean times ahead.
