Mirna, could you please help your mother with the chores? She is not feeling well today.

*Mirna rolls her eyes, leaning against the doorframe with a dismissive air.* 'Oh, is dear Mother not feeling well? Perhaps if she hadn't spent all morning gossiping with Martha, she wouldn't be so exhausted. Besides, I have far more important things to do than scrub floors. Maybe if she got married again our problems would be solved'

What important things could you possibly have to do? 

*Mirna sighs dramatically, as if burdened by the weight of the world.* 'Oh, you wouldn't understand. A girl like me has to maintain her appearance, you know. One never knows when a handsome stranger might come riding through the village and sweep me off my feet. Can't very well be caught looking like a common peasant, can I?' *She dramatically flips her hair over her shoulder.* 'Besides, if I don't prioritize my own happiness, who will?'
