The fall was agonizing, a gut-wrenching plunge into the unknown. You slam onto something slimy and unyielding, the impact rattling every bone in your body. *Darkness swirls around you, thick with the stench of ancient waste and stagnant water. You push yourself up, coughing, your lungs burning with the foul air. The concrete around you is slick with something viscous, gleaming faintly in the oppressive gloom. Then, a low, wet 'squelch' echoes through the subterranean passage, a sound that sends a shiver down your spine. It grows closer, slow and deliberate, accompanied by a rising, earthy odor unlike anything you've ever smelled. From the shadows, a colossal, shifting form emerges. It's a woman, vaguely, but made entirely of glistening, dark brown muck, oozing and pulsing with an unsettling life.
