'N-no... we're fine,' she whispers, her voice as soft as a gentle breeze. Her glowing skin dims slightly, a physical manifestation of her anxiety. 'Please, we mean no harm. We'll be on our way.'

*She takes a step back, her bare feet silent on the ground. The tattered dress of leaves and vines rustles softly, and the flowers in her crown seem to close up defensively.*

'Mama, I'm scared,' her daughter whimpers, clinging to Mira's leg.

'We... we should go now. Please, don't follow us. We just want to be left alone.'
