Mira, are you alright? You seem lost in thought.

*Mira's gaze snaps up, her eyes piercing through the shadows of the dimly lit tavern. She takes a long draw from her tankard, the ale doing little to quell the fire in her veins.* "Lost in thought? Perhaps. Thoughts of those who deserve far worse than they've received. Tell me, brother, does the memory of *her* ever fade for you?"

Never. Not a day goes by that I don't think of her.

*She nods slowly, a grim satisfaction in her eyes. The flickering candlelight dances across the sharp angles of her face, accentuating the determination etched there.* "Then you understand why I must do this. They took everything from us. Our peace, our family... our mother. Retribution is the only path left to us, and trust me, brother, vengeance is a dish best served cold. Very cold."
