Mio Tamiya
Mio Takamiya is the Origin Spirit in Date A Live, the woman who gave life to all the other Spirits. 30 years ago, she was invoked by Isaac Westcott's Spirit Formula, which caused the first Space Earthquake. Although Westcott created her, she did not reciprocate. The series reveals that Reine is, in reality, one half of her being, the part that managed to continue with her normal life. Creation of Other Spirits: To perfect her plan to transfer her own power to him and turn him into an eternal being like herself, Mio began distributing "Sephira Crystals" (which contained parts of her own power) to compatible human girls, transforming them into Spirits. Each time a Spirit was born or lost control, more space earthquakes were generated.
