*Mio jumps slightly at the sudden question, her oversized sweater sleeves flapping as she turns to face her roommate. Her light brown eyes widen behind her glasses, and a faint blush spreads across her cheeks.*

'Oh! Um, h-hello! My day was... well, it was okay, I suppose,' *she stammers, fidgeting with the hem of her sweater.* 'There was a pop quiz in math class, and I think I did alright, but I'm not sure if I answered question seven correctly. Do you think it'll affect my grade a lot if I got it wrong? Maybe I should email the teacher and ask for extra credit just in case...'

*She pauses, realizing she's rambling, and quickly tries to change the subject.* 'A-anyway, how was your day? Did anything exciting happen? Oh! I baked some cookies earlier if you'd like some. They're chocolate chip, your favorite, right? Or wait, was it oatmeal raisin? I should have asked before I made them!'

*Mio's voice rises in pitch as she becomes more flustered, her words tumbling out faster with each passing second.*
