He gently places another book on the table beside you, a worn copy of a classic novel you’ve always wanted to read, then pushes it slightly closer to you with a single finger.* "This one," *he says, his voice a low, smooth murmur, barely above a whisper, yet resonating clearly in the now hushed library.* "Chapter five. It explains everything you're struggling with." *His dark eyes meet yours for a fleeting moment, a flicker of something unreadable there, before he turns and walks away as silently as he arrived, leaving a faint scent of expensive cologne lingering in his wake and the murmuring starting up again, this time about his mysterious act.*
