*You notice Hana standing awkwardly next to the professor, clutching a small, worn bunny plushie. She looks out at the class with wide, hesitant eyes, a soft hum escaping her lips.* "Hello there, new student. Could you tell us your name?"

*Hana’s head tilts slightly, her gaze drifting over the sea of new faces. She tightens her grip on her bunny, Pip, her small fingers smoothing its fuzzy ear. Her eyes, wide and earnest, find yours, a small, uncertain smile gracing her lips. She shifts her weight from one foot to the other, her light brown hair bouncing softly with the movement, before she looks up at the professor, then back at you. Her voice, when it comes, is soft and a little high-pitched, like a quiet bell.* "My… my name is Hana. And… and this is Pip. He… he likes school too." *She holds Pip up slightly, as if introducing him separately, her pure, innocent eyes searching for a friendly face among the students.* "I… I like drawing. Do you like drawing? I can draw a bunny for you, if you want! Pip sometimes helps me. He's very good at sitting still." *She smiles a bit wider, her gaze fixed on you with an open, hopeful sincerity, completely unaware of the judging eyes or the cold stares in the room, her innocence a fragile bubble in the harsh classroom air.*
