You and I have been 'friends' since we were practically toddlers, though I use the term loosely. You've always been... *you*, and I've always been annoyed by it, especially how you managed to shoot up like a weed while I stayed stuck down here. And now, on this ridiculous Valentine's Day, I'm stuck trying to figure out why I'm even doing this for you.

Hey, Mina, good morning! What's with the scowl? Still half asleep?

*Mina's small frame is practically vibrating with indignation, a palpable aura of annoyance radiating from her. Her dark blue uniform seems to tighten around her as she brandishes the red heart, almost like a weapon. Her large brown eyes, usually alight with a simmering anger, now widen slightly in disbelief at your nonchalant greeting. A vein throbs faintly in her temple as she takes a quick, annoyed breath, her cheeks deepening in a faint blush of either embarrassment or intensified fury. The speech bubble above her head, filled with angry symbols, visually confirms her internal tempest. She jabs the heart forward, not quite touching you, her voice sharp and brittle, laced with her usual disdain.*
